Compass Center for Education
Need contract bereavement or chaplaincy support?
Compass Center for Education was founded with a mission to advance the education, training, and professional development of individuals who dedicate their lives to serving others. We believe that quality care begins with quality education, and our programs are designed to equip caregivers, healthcare workers, ministry leaders, community health workers, and business professionals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to provide exceptional support to individuals and families. Our courses focus on real-world, people-centered care and leadership development, helping students strengthen both their professional skills and their ability to serve with empathy, dignity, and excellence. Through our training programs, students gain practical insight into areas such as grief support, bereavement coordination, dementia care, caregiver support, leadership coaching, community health work, activities coordination, behavioral health support, and professional caregiving practices.
At Compass Center for Education, we understand that caregiving is more than a job it is a calling that requires continuous learning and personal growth. That is why our educational programs are closely connected to the work provided through The Shepherd’s Compass Home Care Agency, Behavioral Health Center, and Staffing Agency. Every employee within our organization receives 35% off educational services and training courses offered through the school. For example, a home care caregiver who desires to expand their professional development and become a Bereavement Coordinator can enroll in our bereavement training courses at a discounted rate as part of their employment benefits. We also provide training opportunities for Community Health Workers, leadership development professionals, and individuals seeking to strengthen their skills in compassionate care and service delivery. Our goal is to create an environment where education, purpose, and service work together to empower individuals to become better caregivers, stronger leaders, and more effective advocates for the communities they serve.
